22 – 23 St. James street, Convent Garden
We worked alongside architects and consultants to create a highly efficient lighting scheme but with desired industrial theme required by the architect and client to flow though the project.

190 The Strand
4D Lighting were approached by a contractor that we had worked with on a previous project where they had noticed 4D’s ability to find the correct fitting for the install.

Bray House
On this project we were called in as a bespoke fitting was required and the consultant knew we had just the right contact. After a few back and forwards to site to get the fitting and control perfect.

Winford Manor
4D Lighting liaised with all parties on this project to ensure that a former retreat could be transformed into a smart contemporary hotel accommodating business travellers at the nearby Bristol airport.

BRI Oncology and Haematology department
4D Lighting worked closely with O’Leary Goss the architects for this project, to create a calming relaxed environment in the entrance and waiting area for the Oncology department.

Bridge Yard
Bridge Yard is the newly constructed visitors centre for Clifton Suspension Bridge. After a few problems with location and funding, the project finally got the go ahead with the assistance of the heritage lottery fund.

Bristol Airport
Bristol Airport was under the process of carrying out a multi-million pound development project including the likes of a new hotel, terminal expansions and most relevant to ourselves a new look for their screening area.

Burnham Catholic Church
We were asked by the architect and services engineers to produce a lighting scheme to compliment the large inner sanctum of this church. Built in the 70`s when it was first constructed.

Clothworkers hall
4D Lighting worked with the Clothworkers hall via a consultant to achieve the desired lighting.

Conquest House and Kings Place
Conquest house and Kings place is a commercial office, which was designed on a specification with high quality products but that suited the clients price range.

Hengrove Leisure Centre
4D were asked by the electrical contractor to work with them on this high profile project. It was to be the first Olympic size pool in Bristol!

Henleaze Church Community hall
Great detail was achieved on this project where the client wanted a smart contemporary finish within the Community hall. The hall is to be used to hold conference and meetings.

Howard Gardens
4D Lighting worked closely with the consultants to achieve what the client desired – this being a fun, themed university living accommodation, this led onto us completing several more around the UK.

Pithay AKA Programme
On this project we were approached by the consultant to help create a bespoke luminaire, that had to meet the full specification and come in budget.

11 - 12 Floral Street
After 4D lighting delivered on the first of these projects (22 – 23 St James Street) the architects approached us to develop the scheme with them for 11 – 12 Floral Street, Covent Garden.

Marlborough Cricket Pavilion
4D Lighting have specified and supplied the exterior and interior lighting on this project.

Merchants Academy
MITIE electrical engineering first contacted us with a view to supplying minimum product where we were named as suppliers. After being found to be competitive on the prices we originally offered we were then offered an opportunity of developing a scheme with them, for the whole project.

National Maritime Museum
4D Lighting worked closely with all three parties including architect, electrical engineer and installer to produce one of our largest projects to date

One St Peters Square
Originally we were bought in by a consultant we have worked with for many years. They had been advised that the client was after something different and they knew that it wouldn't be a job for just one manufacturer.

Plummer House
4D Lighting worked closely with the consultants to achieve what the client desired – this being a fun, themed university living accommodation, this led onto us completing several more around the UK.

Redcliff Street – Booking.com
Redcliff Street is a beautiful example of how to make what was previously a bland office space, look welcoming, professional and fun loving all unbelievably on a small budget.

Science Park
On this project we worked long side the consultants to achieve various lighting levels and effects in many different spaces.

Sidcot School
We had been asked to provide a lighting solution that would have sympathy to an old building getting a major contemporary extension that included for a lecture theatre, art block and drama and music rooms. The building entrance would also have allow itself the flexibility of being used for more than just a reception , as on occasions being used as an events arts gallery for exhibition work for the school.

Somerset place
Somerset Place is a high end residential project in Bath where there are several houses being fitted to the same specification.

SS Great Britain
We were asked to help light one of the biggest parts of Bristol’s history – The SS Great Britain. We worked closely with the Heritage society and architects to offer a lighting solution to suit – not always easy when the lighting available during this ships life time was little more than candles!

Tithe Barn
We were asked by the design team to produce a lighting scheme that would seek to be discreet in its approach against the backdrop of the stunning refurbished roof, whilst offering total functionality.

Number One Bristol
4D were asking to help create a rooftop garden for the high-end appartment block in Bristol named, Number One Bristol.

Windsor House, Cardiff
4D Lighting worked closely with the interior designer to achieve a modern and creative social space for Windsor House student accommodation. Having already worked with the interior designer and client on several projects, 4D Lighting were well placed to deal with both the technical and creative challenges that lay ahead.

Flemming Park, Southampton
4D Lighting were appointed to create a lighting scheme for the swimming pool for the leisure centre in Eastleigh, Southampton and worked closely with the consultants on this project and in time also created a scheme for the café and the exterior lighting. A lot of thought and precision was needed for this project to be completed successfully. Glare from the pool was to be taken into account and 4D designed a bracket for the luminaires used due to the beams of the building being too high, therefore no fittings were able to fix to them.

St Mary's School, Ascott
On this project 4D lighting worked long side the consultants to achieve various lighting levels and effects in many different spaces. These spaces included working areas, atriums, bedrooms and living accommodation. Working with different spaces on the project meant there was room for creativity and working with several different luminaire fittings. As well as the numerous design challenges encountered on the project, all of the lighting had to be delivered to a strict time frame in order to ensure the project ran smoothly. 4D lighting succeeded to do this with very little fuss, all whilst maintaining a sound working relationship with the consultants. It was a brilliant and fun project to be involved in.

Mulberry Park, Bath - 'The Hub'
4D Lighting worked closely with the consultants to create this modern and stylish hub area. This project was interior design led but had to be in keeping with the consultants technicality guidelines. The interior designer wanted a variation of vibrant finishes for the fittings. These stood out well against the white walls and the glass panels.

Maudsley Park Alne, Warwickshire
4D Lighting were excited to be involved in this beautiful project that is located in Great Alne in Warwickshire. This hall is interesting as it has strong historical links to the motor industry. 4D worked closely with the consultant to create lighting schemes for all areas including the bar, restaurant and swimming pool.

Paddington Crossrail, London
Most likely one of the most prestigious projects 4D lighting has ever been involved in. Over 3 years 4D Lighting worked with Skanska to develop a completely bespoke luminaire that went with the architects vision along with being fit for purpose. Read more below on how this was achieved.
