Brewery Quarter, Cardiff - Portfolio

The site of the old Brains brewery, in Cardiff, was part of an ambitious plan to develop the site into an area suitable for high class residential and top class restaurants.
The electrical contractor, Whitehead Building services introduced us after the initial concept had been developed. We were asked to provide a cost effective solution for all areas of the retails to include LED colour change for the lighting Tower and entrance walkway. This being achieved using product from Crescent lighting range.

The walkway has large pendants, these affectionately being known as the “sputnick”, as you will see for obvious reasons. The fitting contained several different lamp types that afforded a simple solution for creating different lighting levels and effects at different times of the day. We successfully arranged for a total of 14 to be manufactured on what was perceived a very tight delivery schedule.

The project was successfully completed on time and within budget.
